SCHEME
This scheme was the brain child of Sri. D. Madegowda,
the then chairman of the City Improvement Trust Board (CITB)
in 1987-88. This was to target the weaker section of the
society and to provide good and safe shelter. In this scheme
approximately 15 thousand sites and model houses were distributed
at a nominal cost on easy installment basis (model houses).
This project became the role model for future concurrence
and other developmental authorities in the country to implement.
Under the Asha Mandira Scheme, MUDA has executed the following
